I was born and raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Not Mexico, New Mexico…You wouldn’t't believe how many people don’t know the difference. After high school, I attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville on an athletic scholarship. GO BIG ORANGE! Being that I’m 6′1 barefooted, everyone assumes that I played basketball for the Lady Vols but I actually earned a scholarship to pitch for the women’s fast pitch softball team. My sophomore year I declared Accounting as my major but then I became bored with numbers and had a need for something a little more creative so I made the switch to Advertising.

After graduating, I became engaged and found myself living in Northern California. My husband & I lived in San Jose, California for nearly five years before returning to the South. Prior to joining team at Talent Zoo, I worked as a Mall Marketing Manager for one of the largest shopping center developers in country, Simon Property Group. During that time, I quickly learned that carrying your pocket during daily mall walks could be devastating to your bank account. I was constantly window shopping and NOT stopping at window. I now spend my days as a Senior Recruiter helping others determine and find their next career stepping stone. I’m enjoying Atlanta and life as a recruiter…I’m no longer afraid to carry my pocketbook with me during "mall walks"…Lenox, Atlantic Station, Mall of Georgia here I come!
