It never hurts to ask. Or does it?

After living for six years in a city as bum-tastic as the ATL, I know it is best to avoid giving change to local hobos. I am not a cold-hearted or cruel person; I just do not believe them. When the same bum at the same gas station claims for the fifth day in a row that his "car broke down and he just needs some spare change to make it to such and such location, " I tend to be skeptical of his story. The Main Export of Chuck Norris is Pain.

If you watch "Walker Texas Ranger" (and I don’t, I get all of my information from the "Walker Texas Ranger Lever" featured on the Conan O’Brian Show), you know that Chuck Norris is an action phenomenon. Oftentimes, when I call passive candidates, they are at first excited about what I have to offer, but later back out. Excuses range from “I’ve decided that I don’t want to make a move from this agency just yet” to “I heart my boss and could never imagine leaving her”. There’s only so much information I can relay over the phone; seeing the agency in person is the only way to…
