Viral marketing, digital media, social networking and only part of the change in marketing – agencies are simultaneously trying to find new ways to force frequency and reach while also engaging consumers with websites that allow them to create and be…

Employer Branding vs. Consumer Branding
In essence, a company’s employer brand is very similar to its consumer brand. From the viewpoint of a potential new employee, what is most important is working for an employer that they trust–just as consumers will do business with companies they know and trust. Unbeknownst to many companies, there are several resources employees can use to “vent†or praise their employers, all of which new talent has access to.
It’s worthwhile to listen to the voice of your employees, just as it’s important to consider that of your customers. For more information check Hodes QTrac’s article on employee branding.

More on the Video Resume Trend
Video resumes are becoming more and more popular, since rapper P. Diddy has requested that candidates interested in being his personal assistance upload a video resume and profile to YouTube. YouTube has become the chosen medium for posting a video resume, and while Corporate America will probably be hesitant to pick up on this trend, it is already a viable recruiting tool for several companies including Google, Cisco and the United States Army. Check out more information on this trend at the Chad.

A Younger Workplace
Recently there has been a scarce amount of desirable modern talent in the workplace, making younger employees a rare commodity. What does this mean for established companies? Executives will have to accept the terms and behaviors of a younger generation of employees in order to draw in the cream of the crop. A younger generation of employees will demand time for MySpace, IM and online shopping at work, along with flexible hours.
Will this create a permanent change in office culture everywhere? For Employers and Recruiters has a lot to say about this.
